We offer tuition for students of all ages.

We run face-to-face 1:1 tuition sessions each week during term time.
Improve reading skills, increase spelling accuracy and boost self-confidence.

The sessions are held at Belle Vue Methodist Church, Shrewsbury on: 

  • Saturday mornings between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm, and 

  • Thursday evenings between 4.15 and 6.15 pm. 

Anyone who would like support with their literacy and numeracy can attend these sessions.

 
 

Each 1:1 multi-sensory session with a fully qualified specialist teacher will provide a supportive and friendly space in which individuals can gain confidence and build on success and may include: 

  • Reading, spelling and writing 

  • Grammar and specialist vocabulary 

  • Numeracy 

  • Study skills and revision techniques 

  • Organisation and time management 

  • Improving communication skills 

  • Improving short-term memory

  • Touch typing support with ‘Touch Type Read Spell’

If the workshop times are not convenient, then it may be possible to arrange private tuition.
